Huge geostorm had hit with a KP of 8 peaked at or around 9:10pm CST. Flew my drone up, I know I shouldn't have, but was able to catch it in its glory. From my porch, I could see with my eyes the entire northern sky turn bright red, and see rays for about 5 minutes. It looked like it was waving back and forth.
A lot of people come to SpaceWeatherLive to follow the Solar activity or if there is a chance to see the aurora, but with more traffic comes higher costs to keep the servers online. If you like SpaceWeatherLive and want to support the project you can choose a subscription for an ad-free site or consider a donation. With your help we can keep SpaceWeatherLive online!
