Project for On-Board Autonomy-2 (PROBA-2)
La misión de la ESA, Project for On-Board Autonomy-2 (PROBA-2) se compone de un satélite en una órbita baja de la Tierra sincronizada con el Sol y cuenta con dos instrumentos a bordo para estudiar el Sol. Uno de estos instrumentos, el SWAP es un generador de imágenes del Sol en la longitud de onda ultravioleta extremo (EUV) de 174 Ångström.
