Story

Skies were mostly clear which gave us hope for a Wonderfull night of aurorae. With temperatures around -25°C it was a cold night but it was definitely worth it! The night started pretty calm but solar wind parameters looked pretty good with steady southward Bz, it was only waiting for the magnetometers to respond and oh yeah they did. We were treated with a stronger substorm (K5 on Kiruna magnetometer) sparking bright aurorae with some neat red color. It sure was a night to remember.
